Hoverboards and Scooters Save Time & Money

What is the real reason Hoverboards and Scooters save time and money? perhaps it is due to the fact that you won’t have to walk from your house to the bus, train station or work. Instead, you can glide on a Hoverboard at speeds that you can’t do on foot. Simply hopping on your Hoverboard or Scooter, skipping the bus can save you time and money. However, while it is still not possible to ride them on UK Roads, it’s something to consider when they do become legal.

Hoverboards Scooters save time and money

Hoverboards and Scooters cost a lot less to run and maintain than any other motorised vehicle. This is due to the simple fact that Hoverboards and Scooters don’t require petrol, diesel or any kind of oils. In fact, all that is needed to use a Hoverboard or an Electric Scooter is by simply plugging it in to charge.

Our UL certified chargers will power your Hoverboard or Scooter in less than 2 hours, saving you time and money. Furthermore, due to our Hoverboard being powered by Samsung batteries, you can now ride for even longer. One of the many other benefits of riding a Hoverboard or scooter includes the fact that unlike conventional motors, our Hoverboards are 100% eco-friendly, too.

Hoverboard Scooter Legislation

Hoverboard Scooter Legislation UK

At this moment in time it’s still illegal to use a Hoverboard or an Electric Scooter on public roads and walkways. However, the Mayor of London is pushing for the Hoverboard and Scooter legislation to be updated and changed. Many cities all over the EU have already changed their laws permitting Hoverboards and Electric Scooters to be used on public walkways and roads with nothing but good feedback.

The law in the UK currently states that Hoverboards and Electric Scooters are classed as “carriages”. Therefore, these are banned from the pavements. If you chose to use a Hoverboard or an Electric Scooter on public roads you are running the risk of being prosecuted for driving a motor vehicle without insurance.

Unfortunately, you cannot get a Hoverboard or Electric Scooter insured as you would with a normal vehicle. These laws may seem crazy but under the Road Traffic Act 1961 it states that any “mechanically propelled” vehicle must have insurance, MOT, Tax and a Driving Licence. Until the Hoverboard legislation changes, we’ll have to stick to riding our Hoverboards on private parks and gardens.
